Most people associate Tar Heels with good North Carolina basketball team since it is one of the best in the country. I think that Michael Jordan attended this institution but I’m not positive. That’s because when I think of this institution, I think of North Carolina Tar Heels football.

The head coach, John Bunting is having his last season for the school this year. I guess that the team is going to go through some big changes and this may be for the better. The North Carolina Tar Heels football team is saying goodbye to John Bunting this year but where is the organization heading after his departure?

We can look at the coach’s final season with the team as a kind of lame duck coaching season. The North Carolina Tar Heels football team has suffered quite a bit as of late. They are really struggling and the future looks bleak for the organization. One would think that the losses would justify Bunting’s dismissal but I’m not sure if I agree.

It takes time to build a really great football team. Look at the professional organizations as examples. Is the North Carolina Tar Heels football organization giving Bunting enough time to show what he can do? There may be great things on the horizon if he is able to put forth the effort.

Right now it seems as if the North Carolina Tar Heels football team can go either way this year. If the coach is that powerful in the way the team functions then Bunting’s leaving can have either a great impact on the rest of the season or a terrible impact depending on his general state of mind.

I don’t know how much effort most would put into a team after getting the boot but I think that Bunting is a unique individual who will want to prove his abilities. I have faith that even though he is on the outs he will put everything he’s got into the North Carolina Tar Heels football team.

The past six seasons have been pretty miserable for the North Carolina Tar Heels football team. Hopefully this season will be better for everyone involved. It may appear as if Bunting has had his fair chance but we will see how the rest of this pans out. I would love to see the North Carolina Tar Heels football organization wonder if they have made the right decision.
