The fighting Irish: Known for its ability to push for a balance in academics and extra-curricular amongst the students, The fighting Irish or Notre Dame is one popular state school where students go to because of everything they have to offer.

They’re another team noted for having a strong football team. In 2005 they made it to the Fiesta Bowl. Notre Dame makes aloud their presence in a football season. They have the reputation of playing hard and being very devoted and dedicated to the game. Players in the team are expected to give a 110% in every game; and that is probably why they deserve to be talked about as one of the best football team in the schools’ league.

Although the tickets for 2006 football season has gone on sale, and preparations for the upcoming season has been made with spring camp to train the players as thoroughly as possible; the school does not and will not forget to focus on the students’ academics and education. All footballers want to turn pro, in fact, any athlete at all; but only few has what it takes and you’ll never know if you’d have until the time comes. So until then, the school will not only promise their students a high athletic level, but also a promising future in education. The students in Notre Dame will be getting the best of both worlds.

Apart from football, Notre Dame is also well known for its basketball team. They recruit only the best of the best and one of the reasons for their success is in their recruitment process. Notre Dame recruits students who’re able to balance the responsibility of schoolwork and progress as an athlete.
