Penn State is one of the college teams located on the East coast that is noted for their football seasons.  Some years they have it good and other years it seems like they aren't playing as well. 

They are usually the underdog in the beginning of the season they come back strong.  Penn State isn't one of the college schools that are as hyped up as UCLA or Notre Dame, but they still do pretty well.  Most of the time, Penn State does make it to a small bowl and has had the chance to play in the Rose Bowl, several times.  Penn State is a university located in Penn State and Altoona Pennsylvania. The school is also known as the Nittany Lions.

They are fierce when it comes to sports and they take pride in their football and other athletic abilities. Joe Paterno has coached the football team for years.  They say that he's coaching abilities are fading but he looks to have no end of his rein as coach anytime soon. The schools rank in the college ball league shows that he's coaching excellence is high above most of the other coaches in the league. Penn State this year ranked among the top four in Division I-A football. 

This is the fifteenth consecutive year for this honor. Proving that Paterno knows exactly what he is doing and knows what it takes to be successful. This year they were in a bowl known as the Orange Bowl.  The Orange Bowl is played every year in Florida.  It is one of the major bowls played next to the Rose bowl.  Penn State knows what it feels like to be a champion.  They have been known to take it all the way to the Rose Bowl and they have a title or two in the past years.

As for Penn State in the up coming years, they expect to keep their top four record and keep moving forward and win some titles on the way.  Joe Paterno is an excellent coach that has taken the team far.  Will he continue to take them to heights or will he respectively retire?  Who knows considering that, he has announced a retirement a time or two.  Right now, we can all assume that Joe and the Nittany Lions are heading for big things and maybe even another Rose Bowl Title.
